Cassie Randolph and Brighton Reinhardt are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
PEOPLE exclusively announced that The Bachelor alum, 31, and the musician tied the knot in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, on Dec. 5, 2025, however, the couple revealed on Instagram on Wednesday, June 3, that they actually privately married in Laguna Beach, California, six months before their destination wedding.
“6.3.2025 🤍,” Randolph wrote alongside photos from her secret beach wedding ceremony. “One year ago today, we had a sweet, intimate ceremony in Laguna Beach with our grandparents who weren’t able to make it to our Costa Rica wedding (and parents too!). It was such a special day that we’ll cherish forever.”
Randolph continued to share more details from the intimate ceremony.
“Our wedding bands have this date engraved inside them, my bouquet was made by my mom and grandma and wrapped with a sleeve from my grandma’s wedding dress, and Brighton’s grandpa married us,” the speech-language pathologist wrote. “The day was sunny and beautiful, ending with a little rain shower that felt like good luck.”
She concluded, “Forever one of the most special days of our lives. Happy ‘official’ one year baby. 🤍.”
Reinhardt reshared the post to his Instagram Stories with “DEVOTION” by Dijon and Justin Bieber playing in the background. He wrote, “1 year ago today we had a mini ceremony with our grandparents bc they were unable to come to Costa Rica 🥹❤️.”
Reinhardt shared two fun photos of Randolph in additional posts on his Instagram Stories, set to Frank Sativa’s “THAT’S MY GIRL” and Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing.” He wrote, “Happy 1st anniversary my sweet silly wifey @cassierandolph ❤️,” in the first slide, and, “4ever 🫶🏽 @cassierandolph,” in the other.

Six months after their private wedding, Randolph and Reinhardt tied the knot in a ceremony officiated by their brothers and attended by 70 guests at The Point Luxury Villa in Costa Rica.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the time of the wedding, Randolph said, “It feels so rare to get everyone to pause their lives, travel somewhere beautiful, and just be together. I couldn’t wait to look around and see our closest friends and family all in Costa Rica, celebrating with us and making memories we’ll talk about forever.”
The couple met and maintained a friendship for eight years before they began dating in 2020. In 2024, they announced their engagement.
