Jet Linx inks Los Angeles base deal, adds five new base partners

by R.Donald

Jet Linx will finally make it to the West Coast later this year.

The Omaha-based management company operates from a network of over 20 bases, augmenting owner flights with guaranteed jet cards.

Jet Linx has been ranked among the 10 largest U.S. private jet operators based on charter and fractional hours for over a decade.

The previous western outposts were in Denver, Scottsdale, and, most recently, in Salt Lake City.

At its bases, Jet Linx operates private terminals for aircraft owners and jet card clients.

The Los Angeles location at Van Nuys Airport will give it terminals at 9 of the 12 top U.S. airports for private jets.

The private lounges enable flyers to avoid often crowded FBOs.

Services include valet parking and detailing for your vehicle while you are traveling.

There is also an open bar and snacks, which are provided based on the profiles of clients departing and arriving that day.

The Van Nuys facility is expected to open by the end of 2026.

Executive Chairman Jamie Walker says the Los Angeles expansion is one of five new deals the company has signed since it relaunched its Base Partner program earlier this year.

The previous program operated more like a franchise model, with exclusive geographic territories.

The new version is based on equity in Jet Linx.

New and existing partners are now rewarded for company-wide growth.

However, they must maintain a primary residence in their base location.

The four additional partners join existing locations in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston.

Base partners serve as the company’s face in their local markets.

They make an equity investment in Jet Linx.

The role is a blend of ambassador and chief sales officer.

They support local sales teams in their outreach through their contacts.

For jet card sales, Jet Linx has refocused on its sales efforts towards base location markets since Walker’s return to the corner office last year.

Walker says jet card sales were up 50% sequentially in the first quarter.

Jet card sales are up 80% year-over-year so far in 2026.
