Companies like Virgin’s Joby, Archer and Embraer’s Eve Air Mobility are some of the companies racing to offer short-hop flights across urban hubs, promising near-silent cabins and zero emissions. It’s not a supersonic, gold-lined flying palace, but it might be the first “private jet” you actually get to ride, without selling your organs or knowing a billionaire.
