Specsavers Launches ‘Bluey’ Eyewear Collection for Children

by R.Donald

Specsavers has launched a “Bluey” eyewear collection for children, developed in collaboration with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, the producers of the animated TV series.

The collection includes four children’s frames in pink, green and Bluey blue. Each pair features character artwork of Bluey, with some designs also including her sister, Bingo.

The frames are designed to be lightweight and durable for daily wear.

“‘Bluey’ is a much-loved part of family life, and this collaboration allows us to translate that joy into eyewear children are excited to wear,” says Sarah Hodgson, senior frame buyer, Specsavers. “By combining imaginative design with trusted eyecare, we’re helping kids feel comfortable, confident and supported in seeing the world more clearly.”

“We are so excited to extend the love for ‘Bluey’ beyond the screen with this colorful range of prescription Bluey glasses,” says Anita Majhu, head, licensing, U.K., BBC Studios. “We hope this special collection will bring joy to lots of children as they choose their first or latest pair of glasses, with the added bonus of ‘Bluey’ to brighten their day.”
