At last night’s ESPYs, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods took the opportunity of the awards show to flex their red carpet prowess, complete with some serious jewelry savoir-faire. Fresh off the New York Knicks’ historic postseason run, the NBA All-Star had plenty to celebrate as ahead of joining his teammates and some of sports’ biggest names inside the ceremony.
For his appearance on the red carpet, Towns opted for a classic black tuxedo which he ornamented with the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Paris Flames Brooch. The archival-inspired jewel added some championship-worthy sparkle to his classic black tie ensemble.
Woods, who is a court-side fashion plate, embraced metallic glamour in a gold chain dress from Oscar de la Renta’s Pre-Fall collection. The shimmering gown paired perfectly with the Christian Louboutin’s Rosa Z heels in laminated lamb nappa leather that she wore to complement. And of course, there were major jewels to ogle aside from Woods’ custom Bernard James engagement ring, which she received from Towns on Christmas Eve last year. To complete here look, Woods donned a yellow and white diamond collar from Bucherer, which echoed the intricate texture and movement of her golden gown.
The evening only added to the season of celebrations for Towns and the rest of the squad, as the New York Knicks were honored with the ESPY for Best Team, recognizing their remarkable season and historic playoff run. With a championship-caliber year to celebrate and standout style to match, Towns and Woods capped off the night as one of the event’s best-dressed couples.
