Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (26 August), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.
In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Joe is left devastated on the day of his wedding to Dawn as he realises that a vengeful Caleb may have destroyed his life forever.
Meanwhile, Dawn deals with some unexpected revelations about Billy’s attack. Is the truth about to come to light?

1. Caleb twists the knife
Caleb refuses to back down from his row with Joe at The Woolpack, enjoying every minute as he reveals his secret revenge plan.
Although Joe initially reckons that Caleb is delusional, he’s soon horrified as his nemesis shares all the juicy details of how Dawn has secretly escaped with Billy and the kids.
Caleb is full of glee as he tells Joe that he’ll never get to meet his unborn child. Joe is gobsmacked – suddenly this is very serious.
2. Dawn confronts Billy
While travelling on a country road, Dawn thinks back to Graham’s warnings that Billy couldn’t have identified who attacked him from behind.
As Dawn points out the obvious flaws in Billy’s story, the deception finally starts to unravel and they end up having to stop the car so they can talk things through away from Lucas and Clemmie.
3. Graham remains trapped
Graham feels powerless as Dawn has trapped him to make sure that he can’t interfere in her escape plan.
Joe’s trusty henchman desperately tries to reach for his phone, but with chaos already unfolding, it may already be too late for Graham to salvage the wedding day.
4. Billy is forced to come clean
Under Dawn’s stern questioning, Billy crumbles as he admits that he lied about who was responsible for his attack.
Dawn can’t believe what she’s hearing – she’s always thought that Billy was a trustworthy and stable presence in her life, but she couldn’t have been more wrong. Billy bites back by pointing out Joe’s many other misdeeds over the past couple of years, but will Dawn still want to escape now that she knows the truth?
5. Jimmy tries to impress Nicola
Jimmy’s marriage is still on his mind as he plans a romantic afternoon with Nicola.
He’s determined to get things back on track after Nicola’s complaints about their relationship turning stale, but will she appreciate his efforts?
6. A stunt changes everything
The week’s dramatic events culminate in a shocking incident involving the key players.
Who’ll be in jeopardy as a stunt rocks the villagers?
