The Museum of the San Ramon Valley debuted its latest exhibit this month, aimed at providing a visual journey through the history of household appliances in “Gadgets Galore! Transforming the American Household.”
The exhibit opened Feb. 3, with the collection of historic gadgets aimed at “connecting the dots between the past and present” according to museum organizers.
“From the invention of the light bulb to the revolution of coffee makers, the exhibit offers a unique perspective on how these everyday items have transformed over the years,” MSRV organizers said in an announcement on Feb. 1.
In addition to offering a visual exploration of the curated items, the exhibit seeks to provide attendees with the stories behind the gadgets and their place in the history of household technology.
“The ‘Gadgets Galore’ exhibit is more than a collection of artifacts; it’s a dynamic exploration of innovation and progress,” MSRV organizers said.
“Gadgets Galore” is on display during museum hours Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. through June 2. More information is available at museumsrv.org.
