“I am a Callaway girl through and through,” she said. “I think they have something for every stage of golfer and are always coming out with new and improved technology. I wouldn’t play Callaway if I didn’t have full confidence in their product.”

The Complete Set is just that, coming with an all-black 14-piece set that will have you ready to hit the green. Currently on sale for $999, the Stix set is fully customizable with options for right or left-handed people, the shaft flex, shaft length and the addition of a carrying bag and head covers.
Pros:

- Bag is light with lots of storage space
- Solid grips
Cons:
- Some customers report issues with durability
More than 6,000 golfers who’ve bought this golf set on Amazon give it five stars. Praised for their grip and weight, we also love that the bag offers plenty of storage space and is lightweight. Let’s be real. How can anyone swing proper when your arm hurts from lugging something around all day? The set comes with a driver, hybrid, 7 and 9 irons, as well as a putter. Although a few customers do report having issues with the clubs coming apart after awhile, many still like them, and for less than $300, they’re not bad for newbies!
Best Golf Accessories
Some of the very best in the game, the Titleist store has everything you could ask for in a golf ball, with the top-notch Pro V1 and Pro V1X sets that are also customizable on the site. They also carry the AVX, Tour Speed, Tour Soft, Velocity and TruFeel, depending on the needs of your individual game.
Pros:
- Gripping bottoms
- Breathable top
- Available in six colors
Cons:
- May not be best in wet conditions
Some golf shoes aren’t attractive. There, we said it! Fortunately, we’d wear this pair from Adidas on and off the green. They have Traxion rubber outsoles instead of spikes, while the lightweight upper brings some air to the top feet. And if it matters to you (as it does to us), 50% of the upper is made from recycled material!
Pros:
- Available in seven colors
- Motion lugs for traction
- Flexible sole
Cons:
- Size down if you like a snug fit. Some report that the shoe runs large
This trending golf shoe for women is one of our favorites! Don’t worry that it doesn’t have any spikes. The motion lugs at the bottom act as traction, so you remain firmly planted, even on moist terrain. The flexible sole will keep feet comfortable as you move from hole to hole. It also doesn’t hurt that the design is pretty and available in several colors.
Pros:
- Rubberized cupped top for low spin launches
- Doubles as a groove cleaner
Cons:
- Not as durable as we’d like
Get your golfing buddies together and have a party. The set of tees from Callaway are sold on Amazon and come in four colors to hand out to your group on the green. They are plastic with a rubber top, holding the ball steady and promoting low spin when launched across the course.
Pros:
- 5 – 1,300 yard range
- BITE Magnetic Cart Mount
Cons:
- Some customers report that lock can be inconsistant
Play your best game possible with a laser rangefinder from the pros at Bushnell Golf.
The Tour V5 model is actually the least expensive in their lineup of gadgets but packs a serious punch when it comes to accuracy and functionality. The magnetic element on the side already sets this apart, as it can stick to the side of your cart bar with ease. It also uses both sight and feel, vibrating as well as visually showing you once you’ve locked on to the flag for your future hole-in-one.
Pros:
- Lightweight, sweat-wicking
- Adjustable closure with hook and loop
Cons:
- We would love if the bill was a tad longer
Playing is no fun with the sun in your eyes. That’s why a visor is essential for your game. Our pick? The Removable Sweatband All-Sport Visor from lululemon. Although designed for running and training, it’s also wonderful for golf, being sweat-wicking and moisture drying. It’s available in two colors, and features an adjustable back closure for a more custom fit.
Pros:
- Microfiber fabcric
- Soft and absorbent
- Waffle texture
Sold at Golf Galaxy, these towels are out of this world, with funky patterns like the doughnuts pictured above or cute cartoons of cold sweet treats for after the game. They are made of a moisture-wicking microfiber that can both wipe the sweat off your brow as well as polish and clean clubs and golf balls.
Pros:
- Trigger vibration and flagpole lock
- 1,000 yard range
Cons:
- LCD screen can be hard to see in direct sunlight
Golf can be a pricey hobby, which is why we love a deal on a golf necessity like this rangefinder. It’s one button measure and one button change unit makes it simple to operate, and that price point is chef’s kiss! The rangefinder also has a slope on and pin lock vibration, as well as a slope off for tournaments. Again, not too shabby!
Pros:
- Oversize design
- Windproof and vented
Cons:
- Opening and closing mechanism could be more smoother
Don’t let a little rain stop your swing.
Make sure to pack this golf umbrella in your golf bag, as it’s the perfect size and shape to keep you and your clubs dry if it starts to rain mid-game. The handle features an automatic open button for a swift and easy release, and the umbrella itself is both rain and wind resistant for showers and gusts of wind that may throw off your game otherwise.
Pros:
- Available in left handed
- Made with leather infused with graphite
Have the best swing in the game with a great pair of golfing gloves from Callaway. Grab these gloves while you can! They come in a small, medium or large size, and also have a velcro closure for a snug fit.
Pros:
- Elastic cords to hold bags tight
- Two racks and side rack
Cons:
- There are no an abundance of reviews on this, but otherwise, we think this cart is a great additional to your golf game
While not a caddy, this will keep your equipment off the floor and in pristine condition when not on the green. It holds three bags, has a spot beneath for shoes, and even handy side storage. It also has wheels for easy transport, which will come in handy at the driving range.
Pros:
- Perforations to reduce moisture buildup
- Made with stretchable suede
Cons:
- Can feel a bit tight first wear
The Callaway Dawn Patrol Gloves start at just $15 and can be ordered in either a right-handed glove or a left-handed one, ranging in size from medium to XL with half-sizes offered in between.
There is no one size fits all when it comes to golf equipment and as Talley puts it you should find “something that fits you personally!” One of the best ways to achieve this, according to her is to “find someone you trust and go searching” for equipment together.
One of the most common mistakes she finds people make when picking out golf equipment for themselves is looking at the exact products the pros use.
“Often you see [people] just get what the pros get,” Talley said. “However, most amateurs need something more forgiving than the professionals. Don’t be scared to make it easier on yourself!”
This comes down to personal preference. With most golf equipment, it may take testing out a few different brands before determining what works best for you. Talley points out two specific characteristics to keep an eye on when trying ones out.
“In many cases the shaft is most important and the club head needs to be something that you like,” she said. “The shaft needs to fit your age, body type and strength.”
