With the release of his new album Übermensch, G-Dragon marks his comeback after over a decade. After completing his mandatory military service and braving some of the wildest scandals faced by BIGBANG, G-Dragon (originally Kwon Ji-yong) now returns with his first solo project since 2017. The King of K-pop is officially back and is already grabbing attention for his avant-garde looks. While the rapper continues to climb the music charts with his new tracks, let us decode some of the most expensive accessories worn by G-Dragon.
The new album consists of eight tracks featuring major collaborations, including “TOO BAD” (feat. Anderson .Paak) and “HOME SWEET HOME” (feat. TAEYANG & DAESUNG). While the music videos are already raking in massive views, G-Dragon’s eye-catching fashion looks in each of these have also been making the headlines. In the “Too Bad” MV, the rapper flaunts a custom version of the Versace baroque bathrobe, which has been flipped into a jacket. He also makes a strong fashion statement with his sneaker choice, which is the Nike Dunk High “Wu-Tang” that made its iconic return in 2024 after originally being released in 1999 in honour of the iconic hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan.
Besides the release of Übermensch, G-Dragon is also currently starring in the variety show Good Day — where the rapper is expected to collaborate with various personalities from different fields to create the song of the year. The show has already featured some iconic moments shared by G-Dragon alongside fellow 1988-born stars Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in, Yim Si-wan, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Kwanghee. While fans have been relishing the K-pop star’s shy persona being challenged on the show, his style choices, especially his trendy scarves, are also earning a fan base for themselves.
Considering the King of K-pop is well-known for being a fashionista, we dig into some of his most iconic wardrobe choices by looking at the most expensive accessories worn by G-Dragon.
Most expensive accessories worn by G-Dragon
Paraiba Tourmaline ring by Jacob & Co.
Price: USD 6.4 million
In November 2024, when G-Dragon dropped the music video for his first comeback single “Power”, he dazzled fans with a standout jewellery piece as he wore the emerald Paraiba tourmaline ring by Jacob & Co. The shiny cocktail ring, which is estimated to be upwards of USD 6 million, features 33.88 carats of the rare gemstone and is further accentuated with white diamonds and pink diamonds arranged in the design of a butterfly surrounding the tourmaline. While it was the emerald Paraiba tourmaline ring that glittered the most, the singer also wore two other statement pieces from Jacob & Co., including a radiant-cut diamond ring and a striking rubellite and spinel ring in the video.
Daisy brooch
Price: USD 112,500
The unique and artistic taste of G-Dragon has led him to collaborate with several major brands, and among them is his association with the luxury watches and high-jewellery brand Jacob & Co. The K-pop star teamed up with the Swiss brand to craft a brooch designed in the shape of a daisy flower in 18k white gold, adorned with 9.31 carats of white diamonds, 1.94 carats of yellow sapphires, and 4.2 carats of tsavorites. G-Dragon flaunted this stunning brooch during his performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards, where he wore a custom-made pink suit crafted by the atelier Blackkong, thus putting on display some of his most expensive accessories.
Chanel’s Lion Timeless brooch
Price: USD 74,200
Brooches are a staple accessory in most of G-Dragon’s looks, and his extensive collection includes this lion brooch from Chanel’s Timeless collection. Carved in 18k white gold, the brooch is encrusted with 314 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 3.24 carats and 1 brilliant-cut diamond centre stone of 0.50 carats. G-Dragon was spotted wearing this impressive piece, along with a camellia embroidery black suit jacket, while attending Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture show in Paris. Adding more poise to this look, the rapper also donned a pair of dark-rimmed glasses. Notably, G-Dragon’s connection with the luxury brand dates back to 2016 when he became Chanel’s first-ever Asian global ambassador.
Louis Vuitton X Jonas Wood scarf
Price: USD 3,004
Ever since he released his comeback single “Power”, G-Dragon has become a trendsetter for wearing scarves. After the song became a smash hit, fans couldn’t get enough of the singer’s grandma-coded scarf fashion. In the music video, G-Dragon stylised a Louis Vuitton X Jonas Wood scarf with a black beanie. The silk scarf belongs to a limited edition collection of the Jonas Wood collaboration with Louis Vuitton, where Wood was commissioned to redesign the label’s scarves with colourful designs.
Fred Jewellery Force 10 bracelet
Price: USD 6,000
The jewellery collection of G-Dragon is also full of bracelets, and the singer is often seen pairing several pieces together, including items from his own label, Peaceminusone. The K-pop singer is also fond of the delicately designed works by French jewellery brand Fred Jewellery and has been spotted wearing bracelets from the brand’s Force 10 collection. G-Dragon was captured wearing a green Force 10 bracelet featuring a woven steel cable with a gold buckle. The exquisite bracelet is encrusted with 64 brilliant-cut white diamonds that make it an absolute stand-out fashion item.

The powerhouse impact of G-Dragon as a fashion icon was particularly observed when a pair of black-rimmed Jacques Marie Mage glasses he wore during a visit to the police station amid his 2023 drug trial were sold out within hours of his appearance. The pair costs upwards of USD 1,300 and is a simple black-rimmed piece. Eagle-eyed fans have also noticed how the same pair also appears in his recently released “Power” music video.

Beyond his stage presence and onscreen appearances, G-Dragon also knows how to serve the best airport fashion looks. Last November, the singer was spotted arriving at the Incheon International Airport in South Korea in a Tesla Cybertruck, but it wasn’t the luxury car that grabbed attention. Fans were quick to spot his stunning black graffiti-accented Chanel maxi flap bag, which completely complemented his look — he paired it with a red cardigan from the same label.
Kuboraum Mask Z18 sunglasses
Price: USD 819
Yet another fashion item that is listed among the most expensive accessories of G-Dragon is this pair of Kuboraum Mask Z18 orange lens sunglasses. The K-pop star is known to own several pairs of shades in varied shapes and coloured lenses, but these Kuboraum sunglasses are among his most eclectic pieces. The tinted glasses certainly add more flair to his outfits, especially since he never shies away from experimenting with varied shapes that make them worthy accessories to his dramatic looks.
Celine straw hat
Price: USD 890
G-Dragon has a penchat for collecting scarves and hats, and recently, as he stepped out for an event to launch his newest collaboration with luxury watch brand Jacob & Co., the musician looked dapper in a sharp look from YSL. He also wore an eye-catching straw hat from Celine to complete his ensemble. The Canotier hat priced at USD 890 brings a classy look, and for a fashionista like G-Dragon, it perfectly expresses his taste.
Chanel silk scarf
Price: HKD 5,000
In his impressive scarf collection, G-Dragon also has this gorgeous black silk scarf by Chanel that the K-pop idol has paired with his outfit from the same label. Featuring the brand’s famous logo, G-Dragon famously wore this piece along with a plaid jacket from Chanel’s 203 collection and added a dash of colour to this look by opting for Chanel wool straight pants in purple. After he became synonymous for kicking off the scarf trend, G-Dragon recently addressed why he chooses to wear colourful headgear and told Vogue Korea, “It wasn’t inspired by anything. It’s just something I like doing because I’m not good at styling my hair.”
