Suitcase icon Antler has just launched a new collection perfect for anyone planning their next getaway, with summer holiday season just around the corner.
The Icon Collection has just landed to mark the brand’s 110-year anniversary, described as “the perfect combination of style and practicality”. With three brand new designs to choose from – the Icon Stripe, the Soft Stripe and the Discovery Backpack – this latest collection also includes packing cubes, luggage covers, tags and straps, and an overnight bag so holidaymakers can travel in style with a complete matching set.
The new hard shell Icon Stripe comes in five colours – taupe, black, pink, green or purple – and starts from £175 for the Cabin size, which measures 40 x 55 x 20cm and therefore fits within the free carry-on allowance size limit on Jet2, British Airways and TUI flights. The Medium Icon Stripe has a price tag of £210, while the Large Icon Stripe will set you back £245 – or if you need a set for your next getaway, you can save 15% off the total price by purchasing the Icon Stripe Set trio including all three sizes for £535.50.
Meanwhile, the new soft shell Soft Stripe comes in at a slightly cheaper £170 for the Cabin size, measuring 35 x 55 x 20cm. This collection comes in three colourways – black, green or indigo – with the Medium Soft Stripe costing £210 and the Large Soft Stripe priced at £240, while you can get the full Soft Stripe Set for a total of £527, again saving 15% compared to buying the three sizes separately.
Both the Icon Stripe and Soft Stripe suitcases feature a water-resistant shell, “silent glide” spinner wheels, top and side carry handles as well as a height-adjustable “comfort-grip” handle, and a TSA-approved combination lock to ensure your belongings are safe and secure. Inside there are three interior zip pockets to keep you organised on your trip, alongside a compression strap and an expander zip if you need a bit of extra room to squash a few more essentials in.
Or if you’re travelling light, Antler’s new Discovery Backpack may be the ideal option – measuring 31 x 45 x 20cm, it fits into easyJet’s stricter free cabin bag rules as well as Jet2, British Airways and TUI’s, and comes with either black, green or purple cord details to travel in style. Priced at £140, the backpack is made with a padded top and side handle, water bottle holder, back sleeve and buckled compression straps, as well as a laptop sleeve, divider and pockets on the inside.
To complete the look, you can also pick up the new £12 Luggage Tag available in green, purple, pink or coral, as well as a matching Luggage Strap in the same colourways for £20. Antler offers free delivery and free returns within 28 days, and all luggage comes with a lifetime warranty – you can also get 10% off by signing up to the Antler newsletter when you first visit the site.
If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option when it comes to splashing out on some new luggage, homeware giant Dunelm has dropped prices on a range of suitcases – but you’ll have to be quick to snap them up, as they end at midnight tonight (Monday, April 15). One of the top-rated options is the Elements Suitcase, which currently has 20% off in selected colours including Fuchsia, Apple, Coral, Blue and Ochre, priced at just £24 for a cabin case, £35 for a medium case and £40 for a large case.
