Beauty fan shares genius hack to tan your back when you’re on your own, and all you need is a hanger

AS the days are getting longer and the sun is starting to shine more frequently, you may be thinking of whipping the fake tan out to give yourself a sunkissed looking complexion.

Fake tan is a quick and easy way of giving your skin a natural looking glow and is a safer alternative to using sunbeds or laying out in the sun for long periods of time.

However, it can be tricky to reach certain parts of your body to tan them yourself, especially areas such as your back.

Thankfully, a beauty whizz has revealed a “revolutionary” hack for tanning your back by yourself.

Evie Thomas revealed the trick via a video posted to her TikTok channel @bebethomas.

She often uses the account to share beauty, fashion and lifestyle tips and tricks.

Evie’s videos are very popular with social media users and she has racked up over 62,000 followers on the video sharing platform.

“To the girl who showed me this amazing life hack for tanning your back on your own”, she said, as the song “Never Forget You”, played in the background, hinting that the hack has changed Evie’s life.

Demonstrating the trick, Evie grabbed an old coat hanger from her wardrobe.

She then proceeded to place her tanning mitt onto one side of the hanger.

The beauty whizz then put the hanger over her shoulder and pretended to rub fake tan onto her back with it.

Evie jumped around and danced along to the song during the demonstration, suggesting she was over the moon to have found out about the trick.

Evie’s video has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up over 1.5 million views in just a few hours.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on the genius hack.

One user said: “I’m going to go and try this right now”.

Another user said: “Girl you are saving lives”.

Some users even shared their own clever tricks for self-tanning their backs.

One user said: “I always use a spatula to do my back”.

Another user added: “I use a loofah and put a hair tie around it to hold it on”.
