Fans of Luigi Mangione, the alleged assassin of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, are so devoted that he’s being flooded with fan mail as his admirers crowdfund for his defense.
Luigi is reportedly receiving such excessive fan mail addressed to his Brooklyn federal jail cell that he’s asked his admirers to limit the number of photos they send.
The Ivy League graduate has been speaking out from prison on the website his attorneys launched earlier this month.
Now, his supporters are looking for new ways to show their backing, including by getting manicures that proclaim the accused killer’s innocence.
Chicago-based manicurist Tai, who goes by Tiger Tipz on social media, shared the nail set on Instagram.
She called the shocking mani ‘the most unserious set I’ve ever done.’
Tai, whose services cost $100 for a two-hour appointment, explained the set was done using gel polish on a medium almond shape with stickers that are available for sale online.
Tai isn’t the only one who’s showing her support for the computer scientist with a manicure – many people are buying up the nail stickers to prove their allegiance to Luigi.

For the viral manicure making the rounds, Tai used pink and black polish to highlight the inexpensive nail stickers.
Some of the stickers ask ‘what murda?’ inside of hearts.
Other hearts proclaim ‘not guilty.’
Some show the University of Pennsylvania graduate’s face.
Tai also emblazoned the nails with bow and heart charms.
The elaborate manicure proclaiming Luigi’s innocence quickly went viral on both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
Followers were quick to proclaim his innocence, as well as tagging their own nail artists to ask if they could get a similarly ‘perfect’ manicure.
However, on X, not everyone agreed with the controversial obsession.
