Best Beauty at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Hollywood’s brightest showed up in full force — and full glam — at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday in Washington, D.C.

The event, hosted by “Saturday Night Live’s” Colin Jost this year to raise money for the White House Correspondents Association, has become an increasingly star-studded affair, with celebrities including Scarlett Johansson, Rosario Dawson and Chris Pine rubbing elbows with the politicians and journalists also in attendance.

Contrary to the subtle glam, which largely swept the 2024 awards season, many attendees went bold with their beauty choices in Washington. Johansson, who arrived arm-in-arm with husband Jost, went retro with a dramatic red lip and a pin-curled hairstyle, while Dawson opted for an all-black smoky eye look.

SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher and Gayle King both donned sultry, silver-gray eyeshadow, while Da’Vine Joy Randolph upped the eye makeup ante with a smoked-out black wing and ombré-brown lids. Her blonde locks were held back by an oversized black bow in a half-up half-down hairstyle. Rachel Brosnahan, who is set to star as Lois Lane in DC Studios’ 2025 Superman film reboot blended a soft-glam pink lip with an all-black eye makeup look and a ballerina bun; Keri Russell and model Coco Rocha similarly went for chignons, Rocha’s featuring face-framing strands of hair.

Men’s grooming also took center stage during the night, with Chris Pine, Aldis Hodge and musician Questlove each sporting full beards down the red carpet.
