Everything You Need to Know About King Charles’s Favorite Watch

by R.Donald

King Charles III and Queen Camilla made an official four-day visit to the United States last week. For a state visit to the Oval Office, King Charles III donned a Parmigiani Fleurier early Toric model, which he also famously wore when meeting President Barack Obama at the White House in 2015. He then was spotted wearing the same timepiece for a speaking engagement with a joint meeting of Congress at the U.S. Capitol.

After their time in Washington, D.C., to mark the 250th birthday of the United States, the royal couple paid a visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and traveled on to New York City to pay a visit to the 9/11 Memorial. They wrapped up the official visit with a trip to rural Virginia.

High-end chronograph wristwatch with a leather strap

The Toric Chronograph worn by King Charles III is a 39mm yellow gold automatic timepiece on a brown leather strap. King Charles also donned this timepiece for the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle in 2018. The Toric collection boasts the highest level of horological craftsmanship, with each timepiece made with a manually wound gold movement.
