While we had hoped that the release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire would bring about the announcement of some new officially licensed LEGO, we’ve yet to see anything Ghostbusters-related from the brick giant since the release of their 2,352-piece Ecto-1. As the trend, fans have been there to help answer the call, with recent custom and entirely unlicensed offerings allowing builders to trap the Spengler family in their Death Chill-proof red parkas to an animated take heavily inspired by the 1980s animated series.
In today’s update, we’ve got a few more familiar-looking minifigures to report on, alongside some fun accessory pieces available now from FireStar Toys!
First, there’s the Destructive Deity, who, despite the copyright-free name, likely has only one question on its mind: just remember to say “YES!” Included are a custom-made 3D-printed hairpiece, a double-sided head with curious and angry expressions, and a pack-in tile piece with custom printing of the special Giant Sloar Edition of New York Travelers Guide.
Keeping with franchise antagonists, up next is the Brickless Bureaucrat. A must for those hoping to shut down the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse’s Containment Unit, Di… err, Brickless, includes a double-sided head with both stern and smarmy expressions, a briefcase accessory, and a unique spooky public transit tile.
Mentioning accessories, likely the most impressive, is a much more detailed take on a Proton Pack. Designed exclusively by those at FireStar Toys, each pack is 3D printed, made of a high-quality, durable resin, and includes hand-painted details. Due to the intricacies of the design, these unlicensed nuclear accelerators are intended with display in mind.
Rounding out other recent Ghostbusters-inspired additions, there’s a 2×4 Stay Puft Marshmallows billboard, a 1x4x6 window display for New York’s favorite Occult Books store, and in keeping with paranormal literature, a copy of Tobin’s Spirit Guide.
For those who’d like to trap any of these above items, they’re now in stock exclusively from FireStar Toys, available by clicking here.
