Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and state BJP president C R Paatil unveiled a Gujarati version of the BJP manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls as well as four promotional songs and election accessories to be used for campaigning, at the state party headquarters Shree Kamalam in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.
Three of the four songs unveiled on Tuesday have been prepared by the BJP’s campaign committee, with one them being penned by noted Gujarati poet Tushar Shukla.
Noted artists from Gujarat, like Sairam Dave, Kirtidan Gadhvi, Osaman Mir, Parthiv Gohil, Aishwarya Majmudar, Arvind Vegda and Urvashi Radadiya, among others, have sung and featured in the songs.
On the occasion, Patel and Paatil flagged off a specially-designed vehicle, named ‘Modi’s Guarantee Chariot’, which will show short video clips and BJP’s promotional songs on a large LCD screen to people.
These vehicles will roam in different parts of the state to inform people about the works done by the government and appeal to them to vote for the saffron party, said a party statement.
The party also released 58 types of elections accessories, including USB charging cables, combs, purses, hair bands, wrist bands, buckles, goggles, LED lamps, balloons, whistles, hand fans, writing pads, paper crowns with Modi pictures, stickers, Modi cut-outs and masks, pens, keychains, cellphone stands and cellphone covers.
