When it comes to the Met Gala, loads of celebrities love taking the whole “beauty is pain” thing just a step too far. Back in 2016, for example, Kylie Jenner was memorably left with scratched, bleeding legs thanks to her very intricate Balmain dress.

Well, this year, Kylie’s Met Gala look left her in pain once again — though this time, it’s because she decided to tape her feet into her heels.

Kylie, who wore a custom Ferragamo gown designed by Maximilian Davis at the Monday night event, posted a video on social media that showed multiple hands attempting to pull her shoes off her feet.

“Max told me to tape my feet into this shoe,” Kylie said, referring to the designer. “And now my feet are stuck in the shoes…Ow!”
The people around her used all sorts of sprays and liquids in a bid to get the heels off — but for a while, they simply wouldn’t budge. However, thankfully, Kylie later revealed that her crew successfully managed to remove the shoes.

Sharing a photo of her bare feet, which appeared to have a few red marks visible, Kylie assured fans: “they’re okay!!!!”
Reacting to the fashion mishap online, one person wrote, “The shoes cemented to her feet is crazy work. The things some people do for fashion, could never be me.” Another person quipped, “I just wanna know what kind of tape was used.”

“I feel like the Kardashians always do the craziest things to look tea…and after become so dramatic about it…” one person commented, while another user said, “I actually appreciate people showing things like this because it highlights what goes into celebs looking the way they do on a red carpet. It doesn’t come naturally to them either.”
