Move over chocolate eggs, this year it’s all about the beauty Easter eggs – and Next’s offering contains popular brands like Laura Mercier, ICONIC, Ted Baker and more
The beauty industry is taking over Easter with eggs filled with luxury beauty products instead of sweet goodies. And the latest retailer to throw their bonnet into the parade is Next, with their £50 gift set rivalling the likes of Glossybox and LookFantastic.
Just as beauty advent calendars have become a Christmas sensation, Easter now presents a chance for shoppers to bag bundles of high-end products at a discount. The high street chain’s Luxury Beauty Easter Egg costs £50, but it’s worth over £183.
It includes eight beauty items, one of which, the Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Bath and Shower Oil is worth £58 alone, which is more than you pay for the whole edit. As part of the deal, each item works out at £6.25.

The Next haul rivals LookFantastic’s Beauty Egg, which is packed with over £205 worth of beauty products but costs £60. It boasts seven luxurious items including an ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Night Cream 15ml Deluxe-Size (valued at £43), a Medik8 Vitamin C-Tetra Serum 30ml Full-Size (priced at £39), reports Bristol Live.
There’s also the Glossybox Easter Egg, retailing at £45 yet valued at over £198. It comes stuffed with nine indulgent treats like an Iconic London Lit and Luminous Baked Highlighting Powder (worth £25), and a Medik8 Crystal Retinal, worth £43.
And while we’re eagerly awaiting reviews for this specific Easter Egg, already shoppers are dishing out praise for Next on Trustpilot. One customer said: “As always, ordering and collection of items from Next (Speke branch) is easy and convenient with no parking charges and a minimal wait. Returns via the automated machine or the counter is very easy / you receive a confirmation text before you have even left the store. It’s the best retail experience I ever have.”
Another added: “Love shopping at Next, all my favourite brands and great prices quick delivery.” while a third penned: “Always a pleasure to shop with Next. Online shopping is seamless with quality products and speedy delivery!”.
Some shoppers have pointed out a few hiccups, with one saying: “Good quick service. One star less due to inconsistent sizes (which is from partner suppliers and not Next own brand) so have to return some items.”
Another chimed in: “Efficient auto process deliveries and it does what it says on the tin can’t really complain. Easy to shop and order I suppose if there was one thing I would like to change is the information on the app when you go to your account it’s not very clear in my humble opinion.”
But for those on the hunt for a steal to kick off spring in style, Next’s Luxury Beauty Easter Egg, priced at just £50, might just be the ticket.
