FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY SHOULD YOU WEAR SLIPPERS AT HOME?
There are several reasons why people choose to wear slippers at home. These include:
• Comfort: Hard tiles and hardwood floors underfoot provide no support to bare feet. Slippers can offer cushioning between the pads of soles and unforgiving flooring.
• Protection from cold and germs: It tuns out mother was right – bare feet on cold tiles can decrease blood circulation, leading to common health issues easily avoided by protecting your feet.
WHY ARE UGGs SO POPULAR?
While UGGs have always been somewhat popular – and were a fashion must-have in the early 2000s – their recent resurgence owes much to celebrity trendsetters like Bella Hadid, Elsa Hosk, and Beyoncé embracing the classic UGG boot. Beyond celebrity influence, loyal UGG fans appreciate their reliable comfort and warmth, making them a winter staple. Get ready to see UGGs and furry slippers everywhere as temperatures drop.
SHOULD YOU WEAR SOCKS WITH SLIPPERS AND UGG BOOTS?
There’s no hard-and-fast rule when it comes to wearing socks with slippers and boots. If if you want an extra layer of warmth and your slippers or UGG boots are lined with a fabric other than sheepskin, then socks may be a good idea as the sweat from your feet could linger and eventually develop an odour as well as house bacteria. However, if the slippers and boots you have are lined with quality sheepskin, you don’t necessarily need to wear socks as sheepskin naturally wicks away any moisture (sweat) so your feet are left feeling dry and prevents any odour from developing.
