During the Fall 2024 shows at Milan Fashion Week, we were captivated by trends like mossy greens, butter yellows and distressed clothing that defined the season from the neck down. But there were a handful of beauty moments that stood out as well.
At Prada, hairstylist Guido Palau created wet-looking, twisty hairstyles, plastering models’ strands into slick coils along the sides and backs of their heads. The hair look at Diesel, meanwhile, included loose, face-framing strands with ends that were dip-dyed in contrasting colors. Versace took an even more dramatic approach, putting models in punk-y spiked looks.
Milan’s standout makeup looks from the week were a celebration of maximalism: Mach & Mach’s models wore matching chrome lipstick and eye shadow, while Vivetta’s had their eyes rimmed in tiny, multicolored crystals. Diesel, too, took an all-out approach, putting models in neon contacts, at least three hues of eye shadow and blue mascara.
