Valentino is celebrating the female body in all its forms this season with its collection, named Valentino L’Ecole. As stated in the press notes, “the body, representative of freedom; the female body, emblematic of emancipation.”

Through abbreviated hemlines, a proliferation of cut-outs, and a lattice of Renaissance-inspired motifs coined as altorilievo (or high relief), Valentino sculpts fabric into seemingly seamless three-dimensional forms that beautifully frame the body.

The fashion accessories are equally artistic, featuring the sculptural half-moon hobo, VLogo, and the large Allknots leather tote, a marvel of artisanal craftsmanship. Scroll for a look.
