Mumbai: Socia media influencer and YouTuber Vaishnavi Shukla recently took a jab at India’s largest electronic gadget company boAt. Vaishnavi shared her experience of using audio accessories for more than two years, and she faced a similar issue beyond purchasing another product. YouTuber Calls boAt Audio Products a ‘Scam’ Here’s Why

Taking it to Instagram Vaishnavi captioned her post, Boycott boat products until and unless they start acknowledging our reviews and promise to make a change regarding the same! (sic)”

In the viral video, she claims the audio company is a total scam” and shares her point of view with her audience. Talking about the products, Vaishnavi claimed the poor quality” of products the company has been providing including wireless earphones, speakers, and smartwatches she had ordered from the company. In the video, she shows the condition of the products and talks about the policy when the products were still under warranty.

Sharing the video on Instagram, the clip has more than 20,000 likes already and more than 3 lakh views on Instagram. Soon the audio giant responds to the viral video and writes, Hi Vaishnavi, we’re eager to make things right and give you the amazing boAthead experience you deserve. We have asked for your contact details via DM. We request you to share the same so that we can get this closed on priority. We truly appreciate your support, and we hope to keep you as a happy boAthead for years to come! (sic).”

Netizens React To Viral Video

As the video made several rounds on social media, netizens shared their experience of using their products. An Instagram user commented, Exactly same issue I faced with a Boat Smart Watch. I did send them for Warranty replace. Moreover they don’t even have a damage option for complaint registration. I got the product back and they said its not covered under warranty (sic).” The second user wrote, And BOAT advertising and claiming to be better than Apple (sic).” The third user commented, This is a very old tactic! They never provide you with proper warranty coverage! Also, they try to fool you or make it look as it was your mistake! However, the quality sucks and audio quality is not on the point or worth the money! (sic).” Another customer wrote, Been using Boat for a year. Had an issue with my Storm Call 2 watch, but they replaced it under warranty. Happy customer here! (sic).”
