Kolkata: An auto driver stabbed another near Dhalai Bridge in Patuli, following an argument over picking up passengers. The incident was reported around 7 pm on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Joydeep Chakraborty, was admitted to MR Bangur Hospital in a serious condition. The accused, Sanat Gayen, was arrested.According to police, both the drivers ply on Patuli-Golpark route. “Probe has found that this is not the first time that the two had arguments. On Wednesday, Sanat attacked Joydeep and fled from the spot. We formed teams and then nabbed him,” said an officer.
