CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Duke Energy Center’s ongoing renovations have led to the cancellation of this year’s Cincinnati Auto Expo.

However, car enthusiasts need not worry, as Local 12 has ventured to the Detroit Auto Show to bring the latest in automotive innovation.

Among the standout vehicles is the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, a car capable of accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 2.3 seconds. It completes a quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds with a trap speed of 150 miles per hour, rivaling the speed of Bugatti and McLaren models.

The showstopper, however, is the Mustang GTD Spirit America Edition, unveiled for 2025. This model pays homage to the original Mustang and is the first American production car to lap the 12.9-mile Nürburgring in under seven minutes, a track known for setting the gold standard in automotive performance.

For those seeking tranquility in their vehicles, the Lincoln Navigator offers a spa-like experience. Drivers can select a theme such as “Waterfalls,” allowing the seat to recline, the temperature to warm slightly, and a massager to activate, accompanied by soothing visuals and sounds. Midway through, the experience shifts to reinvigorate the driver, preparing them for the next task, whether it’s picking up the kids from school or heading to the next meeting.
