Gippy Grewal’s inspiring journey, from second hand vehicle to his dream car…
In a recent interaction with Mashable India, Gippy recalled his struggling days and said, “I have struggled a lot to get into this field. Everyone dreams of owning a car, and I was no different. Initially, we bought an old Maruti car, and then we managed to get an Indica car after great efforts, I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep, thinking about our new car. I am talking about the late 90s and early 2000s. Luxury cars like Mercedes and BMW were unimaginable back then.”
Further, he added, “For me, life is about living it to the fullest because we only get one chance. You earn, you live, and that’s it. When you’re gone, nothing stays with you. So, we had the Maruti, then the Indica, and when I started earning more, I bought another car, the BMW 740. It was a big deal in Punjab back then, especially since it was one of the first automatic cars.”
I was thrilled, didn’t drive it that day: Gippy
“I was exhausted that day, but when I saw the car, I was thrilled. I didn’t drive it that day, but the next day, I took it for a spin. There’s no doubt that earning something through hard work brings immense happiness. My family was overjoyed, and we even visited the Gurudwara Sahib to express our gratitude. That feeling of achieving something through hard work is indescribable. Back then, I knew nothing about cars, but I learned as I went along,” he concluded.
