The survey itself promises $250,000 of in-game cash upon completion, with a further $2,000,000 given after a follow-up one-to-one discussion about the player’s Grand Theft Auto Online experience. According to the email, the survey is only available to selected players identified as a suitable candidate, so not everyone will have received this from Rockstar. Those who do have it should complete it – it’s definitely one of the best ways to make money in GTA Online, even if it’s only a one-time thing.

Gamers in the thread encouraged the user to take the survey and interview seriously, with it representing a great way for player feedback to be heard in Grand Theft Auto Online. While it remains one of the best live-service games around, it will always benefit from having those who actually play it a ton giving extensive feedback. Interestingly, a few other players in the thread confirmed that they had also received similar emails, with some coming in October 2023. Players who had received the older emails confirmed that the reward for the longer interview was a lower $500,000 in-game cash, so hopefully the buffed reward will result in more engagement from Grand Theft Auto Online players.
