Peltier Auto Group buys Longview dealership, plans new Ford facility construction

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – Peltier Auto Group has announced the purchase of Pegues-Hurst Ford in Longview and plans to convert it into a massive new Ford facility.

According to a press release from Peltier, the purchase of Pegues-Hurst was finalized Tuesday and the official start of operations at Pegues-Hurst Ford is set for Wednesday.

In addition to buying the dealership, Peltier also announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art, 50,000-square foot Ford facility located on U.S. 259 in Longview. The press release states the new facility is set to become a hub for the latest models and technologies.

The press release also states the new construction signified Peltier’s investment into the local community. The facility is expected to create many job opportunities for people from the Longview area.

Peltier currently operates five other dealerships in the East Texas area.
