7-Eleven has unveiled an adorable tech range in Singapore, featuring characters from the familiar childhood franchise Care Bears. In a joint Instagram post with Play Nation Singapore on Tuesday (11 March), 7-Eleven showcased a series of pictures to highlight the cuddly companions and tech accessories.
“Bring a touch of nostalgia and heartwarming vibes to your everyday,” the caption read.
Fans of franchise will have an option to pick from two characters, cheer bear and grumpy bear. In addition, the power banks come with a handy strap and pouch to keep charging cables organised and ready to go.

Moreover, on Thursday (13/3), the convenience chain unveiled exclusive phone grips showcasing various Care Bears characters. In its Instagram post, 7-Eleven also noted the release of wireless earbuds as part of the plush collection.
The plush tech accessories will be available in 258 different 7-Eleven outlets across the country.

7-Eleven’s bear-themed tech collection was released a day prior to Singapore Airlines’ announcement, stating customers will not be allowed to charge portable power banks via the onboard USB ports, or use power banks to charge their personal devices, throughout the duration of the flight.
In a statement on Wednesday (12 March), the airline noted that the SIA Group complies with the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) dangerous goods regulations regarding the carriage of power banks, which are classified as lithium batteries.
“This means power banks must be carried in cabin baggage on all SIA flights and are not permitted in checked baggage,” it added.
