Have you ever seen a very large dog try to cuddle their way into your soul? Well, meet Trigger! Trigger is very friendly and loves to cuddle. At 85 pounds, it certainly feels like Trigger has a lot of love to give. She prefers women over men. She can live with men, she will just be more fond of the women in the house. She is very cat-like despite her size, weaving her way through your legs, sitting down between your feet, or even just standing there. She loves to be close by. Trigger loves toys. She will often root around for her favorite one (it changes every day!), take it up to her kennel and squeak the heck out of it. Trigger is a great gal who easily steals the hearts of everyone she meets. She loves to play with her foster brother, or just laying in the sun and soaking up all the warmth. Maybe you need a new sunbathing buddy, and you desperately need someone to find all the dog toys in your home. Don’t pass me by, my adoption fee has been reduced by $100! Apply to meet Trigger, today!
Meet Eli! He loves his foster dog sibling, and loves to play! Eli is like the energizer bunny, he could play all day and well into the night, make sure you ready to throw endless tennis balls. Eli is a wonderful passenger in the car, and does well when he needs to be kenneled. He knows the commands: sit, shake, and down. He is respectful of his fosters items, but has been known to destroy a toy or two. He does best with a nylabone.. No soft toys for this boy, he will show you how fast he can take it apart. Eli does not like to be restrained. He would rather be a free willy kind of guy. Due to him being adverse to restraint, it’s best he is not around smaller kiddos. Eli is super cuddly when he is done playing and loves a good neck scratch. Don’t pass me by my adoption fee has been reduced by $100! Apply to meet him today!
When Carmen is at BDAR, she tends to be timid and anxiously awaiting the return of her foster. She bonds quickly to her human and does amazing in the home. Carmen is a spunky 11 year old! She loves to kiss faces and roll around to get her belly rubbed. She has a huge smile and an even bigger heart! Carmen is house trained, crate trained and gets along well with other dogs. She always listens and is very respectful. Carmen loves treats and is very food motivated. Carmen is a goofball. She will, no doubt, wiggle her cute butt right into your heart. Carmen is a true ambassador for the breed and is waiting to fill that empty spot in your home. She wanted to chase cats the first time we showed her them. It’s probably best if she goes to a kitty-free home. She may not jump a fence due to her age, but in her early years she had jumped fences, so a 6′ fence is recommended. Carmen can get overzealous about her ball and sometimes get a bit too close to your hand when playing. She doesn’t mean any harm by this, but we recommend no kiddos under 5, due to that mouthiness when she gets focused on her ball. Don’t wait my adoption fee has been reduced 100%! Apply today!
Yuna is new to us and we are still learning more about her. In the meantime you can apply to meet her online or visit her in person at our facility!
Sooky is new to us, she can be timid but she loves to be petted. Her favorite thing to do is smush her face into the palm of your hand and purr while you rub her face. This little purring machine shows off how content she is by kneading her little paws into a blanket while you pet her. Sooky doesn’t like to be picked up and will try to get away from you once her feet leave the ground. For her to be happy it’s important that all four paws are on the ground. Apply to meet her today.
Smudge is new to us but learning to be friendly in a new environment. He carefully steps his way toward you seeking head scratches, but fast movements tend to send him back to a safe place. He may have to be on urinary food for the rest of his life. He only has a couple teeth left, but he still eats wet food well, if people sit with him. He is a social eater! Soft sounds and butt scratches are the way to this guy’s heart. Come in and meet him today!
