The fire began early Friday morning, causing the roof to collapse and her mansion’s walls to be scorched. According to TMZ, firefighters arrived some time after 4:00 a.m. PST with 13 engines and 94 firefighters responding to the scene. It took approximately two hours to contain the blaze.
A man carried one of her cats which looked visibly distressed. The kitty was wrapped in a blanket, safe from the flames, as it was taken to a car to get away from the hectic scene.
