It’s a pawty!

The Worcester County Humane Society’s 24th annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets will return to Ocean City, Maryland’s, historic Boardwalk this spring.

Here’s everything you need to know about the pet-friendly event.

When and where will Ocean City’s Boardwalkin’ for Pets take place?

Boardwalkin’ for Pets will kick off on Saturday, April 12. Registration will open to all participants and pets beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Inlet. This year’s event will include a special Doggie Dig, Pawsport Prizes and After-Pawty at 16th Street with prizes and giveaways.

The walk will begin at 10 a.m. at the south end of Ocean City’s historic Boardwalk, traveling the entire length of the Boardwalk and back. Participants may start fundraising today by signing up online. The more money participants raise, the greater their chance of winning a top prize.

Ticket types include “Animal Lover” for $35, “Cat Whisperer” for $50 and “King of the Jungle” for $125. After-Pawty tickets are included in the $50 and $125 registration levels, or will be $25 at the door. Each ticket type features its own amenities, such as pet portraits, a t-shirt and more.

“We want to thank all the amazing furry friends (and their humans!) who participated in this year’s event,” the Worcester County Humane Society said in thanks to its supporters following the successful 23rd annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets. “It wouldn’t have been the same without you!”
