HANOVER, Va. (WWBT)— Officials are investigating what caused a house fire in Hanover on Thursday morning.
Just before 7 a.m., crews responded to a reported house fire in the 8100 block of Walnut Grove Road.
Once on scene, crews found a two-story home with smoke coming from the roofline.
Officials say 2 adults, 4 children and multiple pets were able to make it out of the home safely.
The fire was marked under control 30 minutes later.
