A new pet crematorium is set to open in a former pizzeria in Nottingham. New signage has appeared on Mansfield Road for Heaven’s Gate Pet Cremation Services.
The site is located between The Open Kitchen and Lauren Paige Art Gallery and Writing Bureau. Whilst it is currently unclear when the service will open, the signage confirms that the unit is ‘opening soon’.
The unit was previously occupied by the Brick Oven Pizzeria. The new Nottingham location will be Heaven’s Gate Pet Cremation Services’ second site.
Who is the greatest Nottinghamian?
The cremation service currently has a site in Heanor located at Regent House. The pet service’s website reads; “Here at Heaven’s Gate we pride ourselves on providing a first-class experience for all our clients.
“We are here to help in all your needs to provide the perfect send off for your beloved pets. We aim to be there for you when you need us the most, offering the best possible services for you.
“Every member of the Heaven’s Gate family are, or have been, pet owners and know the pain that you will be going through at this time.”
New plans have recently been put forward for a new pet crematorium business in Nottinghamshire, which hopes to provide a “compassionate” service for the community. Plans have been submitted to Rushcliffe Borough Council requesting to change the use of a residential building to a pet cremation business in Granby, near the Vale of Belvoir.
If approved, Vale Farm Pet Cremation will be a small family-run business on Sutton Lane that hopes to meet the need for pet cremations and provide a family-oriented service.
