SINGAPORE – There can never be enough ways to pamper yourselves and your precious fur kids, be it wearing a necklace with their likeness or buying them a state-of-the-art pet carrier.

Wear a bejewelled likeness of your pet
To commemorate Charlie the dog becoming part of her family, the owner of the rescued Korean Jindo headed to Madly Bespoke Jeweller to craft a set of earrings in 18K champagne and rose gold with white, black and brown diamonds and a ring in her likeness.
The jewellers created earrings in the shape of Charlie’s head, with one ear up and other ear down.
The ring featured Charlie’s head and curled tail, with a little brown diamond placed on her left cheek to resemble her scar.
Madly, the home-grown jewellery design house that specialises in coloured gemstones, has seen an increase in requests for jewellery pieces modelled after its clients’ pets in the past two years.

Rings are the most popular requests for pet-themed jewellery, such as a sapphire engagement ring with a small poodle in a yoga pose, as owners can look at their fingers whenever they think about their pets.
Working from photos, videos and descriptions from clients, Madly sketches out poses or expressions. The entire process from conception to gemstone selection to crafting takes about six months. Prices for bespoke pieces vary from $3,500 to $6,000.

Singapore’s largest pet fair is back for its 11th edition. With over 150 local and international exhibitors, pet owners and their fur kids can get an unparalleled shopping and educational experience.
Retailers worth checking out include South Korean pet brand Jungle Monster, known for its pet beauty products such as ceramide moisturiser, and blackhead and acne remover.
Malaysian exhibitor StreetPaw will showcase its gourmet treats, including premium bone broth and grilled delicacies for pets. Home-grown brand Poopee offers its eco-turf solution designed for high-rise dwellers or senior dogs who cannot go outside to relieve themselves.
Other highlights of the expo include educational workshops, where pet owners can learn pet massage techniques and simple pet grooming skills. A highlight is the animal communicator workshop, where pawrents can learn how telepathic communication can transform their relationships with their fur kids.
