Stardew Valley is now celebrating its eighth year anniversary, and with the game thriving, ConcernedApe has gone ahead and released the brand new 1.6 update.

ConcernedApe has now shared via X that update 1.6 for Stardew Valley is going to be first released on PC on March 19, 2024.
During this update, there’s some brand new pets for players to snag for their farms, and players are amped over some of the new choices.
Below are all of the news ones within Stardew Valley.
- 2 new dog breeds
- 2 new cat breeds
- 2 turtles
- Priced at: 60,00 gold and 500,000 gold
If you’re in the market for a brand new pet turtle, players will be able to purchase this pet as the second one for their farm, as the game doesn’t allow you to have it as your starter pet.
