Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have reportedly fled Romania on a private jet headed for the US.
The controversial influencers are understood to have left Baneasa airport shortly after 5am on Thursday.
The flight comes less than two weeks after reports that Trump officials were lobbying the Romanian government to lift travel restrictions on the pair.
Andrew, 38, and Tristan, 36, both UK-US nationals who grew up in Luton but now live in Romania, are facing human trafficking and sexual abuse charges in Bucharest and Britain.
DIICOT, the Romanian special prosecutor’s service, has confirmed that the brothers remain under investigation but their request to leave Romania was accepted. They will have to return to the country at a later date for criminal proceedings.
The pair are vocal Donald Trump supporters and have achieved online fame by calling on men to “escape the matrix” by getting rich and rejecting feminism.
The move threatens to raise tensions between Sir Keir Starmer and Mr Trump, the US president, before their crunch meeting in Washington later on Thursday.
Andrew has been heavily critical of the Prime Minister, especially over his handling of the far-Right riots following the Southport murders in 2024.

Last month, he vowed to become the UK’s next prime minister as leader of new political party “BRUV” (Britain Restoring Underlying Values).
He appeared to win the support of Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and close ally of Mr Trump, who said he was “not wrong” to claim that he had the power to transform British politics.
The Tate brothers were released from house arrest by a Romanian court in January pending the outcome of an investigation and were understood to be barred from leaving the country. Both deny any wrongdoing.
The older of the two brothers has called himself the “king of toxic masculinity”.
US officials raised the Tates’ case in a phone call with the Romanian government in early February, the Financial Times reported.
Richard Grenell, a US special envoy, is then believed to have brought up the issue with Emil Hurezeanu, the Romanian foreign minister, at the Munich Security Conference.
Mr Grenell said he supported the Tate brothers “as evident by my publicly available tweets” but had “no substantive conversation” with Mr Hurezeanu at the summit.
The US government is understood to have asked Romanian authorities to return the brothers’ passports, allowing them to travel while investigations continue.
Robert Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary, recently warned the US not to interfere in the Tate case.
He posted on X: “They must face our justice system. No obstacles should be placed in the way of UK authorities. The Government must make that clear to US counterparts.”
The brothers are former kickboxers with large social media followings. Andrew has been banned from TikTok, YouTube and Facebook after being accused of posting misogynistic comments. However, he remains active on X, where he has more than 10 million followers.
