A South Korean Boeing 737 aircraft was spotted at the Vero Beach Regional Airport the week of April 21 before it left town the next day.
The aircraft was a Hyundai Boeing 737-7GE aircraft operated by a private owner registered in South Korea, according to its tail number information on Flightradar24, a flight-tracking service.
Flightradar24 and other similar services allow users to look up live air traffic, as well as access current or historical data and future flight schedules for commercial and some privately owned aircraft.
However, recent legislation has been implemented, making it harder to track private airplanes. Here’s what to know about the legislation.

Does the FAA allow jet owners to block their flight information from the public?
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) implemented legislation on March 28, making it harder to track private aircraft since the owners now can submit an electronic request to the FAA asking to withhold registration numbers for non-commercial flights.
The administration also plans to hide personal information, including names, addresses, phone numbers and emails, from public view, but it will request public feedback on the move.
This move comes after then-President Joe Biden signed the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 into law on May 16, 2024.

Under the law, aircraft owners who demonstrate a security need can apply for a new aircraft identification code.
However, the FAA will seek public feedback on whether removing private information could impact stakeholders’ ability to carry out essential tasks like maintenance, safety inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Can you track flight information?
Yes, commercial flight information is available online for people to search, and it provides consumer insight, such as on-time records. But this has caused issues with public figures and celebrities who have had their flight data scooped.
Social media accounts have used the FAA registry to track private planes and fuel usage for well-known politicians and entertainers such as Taylor Swift, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Harrison Ford, Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey.
Online services that can provide you with commercial flight information include the following:
