The life of luxury isn’t new for this New York Giant.

Before becoming New York‘s first-round draft pick, Jaxson Dart was the starting quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Dart was Mississippi’s starting quarterback for the last three seasons

He was slinging the rock and setting school records down in Oxford, Mississippi over the last three years, before becoming the future of the New York Giants.

But don’t let his time down in the rural South fool you. He wasn’t living the usual modest Mississippi lifestyle.

Not in the day and age of NIL for a starting quarterback at an SEC program.

Dart had it all, including access to a fleet of private jets.

The question is, what would a then 21-year-old need his own private jet for anyways?

Dart and his partnership with Nicholas Air was originally spearheaded by the quarterback’s philanthropic and community efforts.

During his time in Oxford, Dart was very hands-on with the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital, specifically with the Stuff-the-Plane event.

“Partnering with Nicholas Air in and of itself is exciting and being able to do it in tandem for events like Stuff-the-Plane is extremely gratifying,” Dart said at the time.

Dart’s agent, Jeff Hoffman, referred to the NIL between his client and the private aviation company as the first of its kind.

“Facilitating the collaboration between Jaxson and Nicholas Air further demonstrates the elite nature of Jaxson as an individual and the power of his brand,” Hoffman said.

“He has the ability to drive tremendous awareness and consideration for a very premium product. A deal of this nature has never been done and we at ESM are incredibly proud to be able to bring them together.”

Nicholas Correnti, founder of Nicholas Air, shared the same excited sentiment.

“To partner with a remarkable athlete like Jaxson Dart, who shares our values of excellence and community engagement, is truly inspiring,” Correnti said.

“We are honored to support Jaxson in his philanthropic endeavors and look forward to making a positive impact together.”

The deal between the two parties was originally a one-year deal with the opportunity to extend it into Dart’s career. It’s unclear if the contract was extended or not.

What’s clear is what Dart is now focused on, and it’s not private jets or fancy cars.

It’s the opportunity to be the Week 1 starter for the Giants.

New York signed veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the offseason, making way for a competitive QB1 battle.

And while Dart will have an uphill climb if he wants to beat out the two established elder statesmen, there is a reason the Giants drafted him with the 25th overall pick.

Outside of Cleveland, there may not be a more interesting quarterback room than the one in New York.

However it shakes out, Dart will eventually see snaps, one way or another.
