Ole Miss quarterback and Heisman trophy favorite for the upcoming season, Jaxson Dart, has made NIL history after signing a partnership agreement with Nicholas Air. In case you are unfamiliar with the abbreviation NIL, it stands for “Name, Image, and Likeness” and is a way for college athletes to earn money while still at school.

They do this by allowing the company they are affiliated with to use their name, image, and likeness for marketing and promotions. It can also include autograph signings, product endorsements, and social media posts. The deal with private aircraft firm Nicholas Air will allow Mr Dart to travel in style with his family for travel, training, and philanthropy use.

When speaking with Forbes Magazine about the sponsorship deal with Jaxson Dart, Nicholas Air founder Nicholas Correnti said:

or his part, the 20-year-old Ole Miss Rebel quarterback told Forbes:

“Partnering with Nicholas Air in and of itself is exciting, and being able to do it in tandem for events like Stuff-the-Plane is extremely gratifying.”

About Jaxon Dart

Born in Kaysville, Utah, on May 13th, 2003, Jaxson began playing football at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah. As a senior in high school, he won the award for the Gatorade Football Player of the Year after he passed for 4,691 yards. After graduating from high school, Jaxson attended the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California.

At the end of his first season at USC in 2021, the school hired Oklahoma Sooners’ head coach, Lincoln Riley, for its football program.

Fearing Riley would convince Sooners quarterback Caleb Williams to join him, Jaxson transferred to Ole Miss, where he became the Rebels’ starting quarterback.
