Arbaaz Khan and Sshura’s shotgun wedding was splashed across headlines back in December 2023. But, it turns out that the mega shaadi wasn’t such a happy occasion for Salman Khan’s family, particularly his sisters, Arpita Sharma and Alvira Agnihotri.

Arbaaz Khan recently got married to makeup artist Sshura Khan. The actor, who was married to Malaika Arora for 19 long years, headed for a mutual divorce in the year 2017. Arbaaz later got into a relationship with Giorgia Andriani in 2018, and after 5 years of togetherness, both chose to go separate ways.
Then, on December 24, 2023, Arbaaz and Sshura became man and wife.
Now, ever since their wedding, there has been a lot of chatter about the big age gap between them. While Arbaaz is 56, Sshura Khan is believed to be at least 22 years younger than him. Arbaaz has, however, maintained that such big age gaps in marriages have a far higher success rate.
While Arbaaz and Sshura are currently enjoying their new-found marital bliss, a little birdie has informed Zoom that the Khan-daan was not happy about this marriage.
An insider close to Salman Khan‘s family has revealed that the sister duo Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Sharma were never fond of Sshura.
The insider further says that Alvira and Arpita were unaware of Sshura’s past – turns out Sshura is a divorcee and has an 8-year-old daughter. This piece of information was kept a secret from not just Arpita and Alvira but from every other member of Salman Khan’s family.
We also have it that Sshura’s ex-husband was an interior designer who ‘couldn’t get along with her’ because he felt that Sshura had suddenly become very ‘demanding’. As the days rolled by, the warring couple reached a point beyond which he ‘couldn’t cope with it’ anymore, the husband claimed to some. Buzz also is, that Sshura made it very difficult for her ex-husband to meet their child.
When the Khan-daan finally got to know of Sshura’s past, they were quite miffed. Alvira and Arpita distanced themselves, and Salman warned Arbaaz and urged him to think twice before taking this leap of faith. However, Arbaaz stuck to his guns.
Of course, now we hear that the Khan-daan has seemingly made peace with it eventually. They even attended the wedding in question and did not make their displeasure evident to the cameras. Has time done the trick or did someone act as mediator?
