Benny Blanco Teases Major Update on His and Selena Gomez’s Wedding originally appeared on Parade.
Benny Blanco gave some exciting updates and cleared up some speculation around the his wedding with Selena Gomez.
The music producer, 37, appeared on Australia’s Today show on June 3 and confirmed that pop superstar Ed Sheeran would be attending his wedding date with the “Bad Liar” singer, but clarified that the date hasn’t been set yet.

“Eventually Ed will come to our wedding when we do have one,” Blanco said in the interview. While some fans may be disappointed that a wedding might not be coming soon, Blanco clarified that “We have not scheduled one yet, but we will.”
Blanco and Gomez confirmed their engagement back in December on Instagram. In the carousel posted by Gomez, she showed off the stunning engagement ring and a photo of the romantic picnic, where Blanco popped the question. In the caption, she sweetly wrote that “forever begins now.”
Since their engagement, the couple promoted the release of their album I Said I Love You First back in March. Blanco’s latest comments on their wedding also echo his previous sentiments he shared in a joint interview with Rolling Stone back in March.
“We’re very much ‘take it one day at a time’-type of people,” he said about setting a wedding date at the time. “We’re still not over this moment.”
