A bride received a big surprise on her wedding day as she couldn’t help but cry tears of joy in a moment that made social media users equally emotional. “I am crying too,” several users said after watching a video of the episode posted on Instagram by Good News Movement on May 10.
It so happened that the young bride, on her special day, was preparing for the ceremony when the groom whispered something to her. She looked onto the other side and spotted her grandmother among the guests who waved at her.
Now, the young woman wasn’t expecting her grandmother to attend her wedding as she wasn’t in very good health. Yet, she made it and the woman just couldn’t hold back her tears as she broke down upon seeing her grandmother.
“Bride is moved to tears when she spots her grandmother at her wedding. The bride did not think her grandmother was healthy enough to make it to her special day. When the groom surprised her with the news, she immediately shed tears of joy,” reads the caption of the post.

Several social media users, in fact, were also gushing over the surprise that the groom planned for the bride on their special day.
“She chose the right one. That’s very special and very sweet of him,” a user said. Another comment reads, “Wow! If there was ever a sign more clear on your wedding day you’re marrying the right one.”
Then, there were people who shared their stories as well. “I tried on my dress for my grandma in her hospice room. I truly wish she could have been there. I would have cried too. What a gift.”
