Wedding guests rushed to help after a child was hit by a car outside the busy venue.
The child is believed to have been hit after ‘running into the road’ outside Eastern Pavilion wedding venue in Oldham, Greater Manchester, this afternoon.
No information has been shared on the age of the child.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Guests came ‘running out to see what was going on’, someone working nearby told Manchester Evening News.
Pictures showed them rushing to the roadside where they were soon joined by police and paramedics.
Emergency services had been called to the incident on Featherstall Road South shortly after 4pm on Sunday.
The busy route remained closed for roughly an hour with two ambulances and several police vehicles on the scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with it.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: ‘There was a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at 4.19pm.
‘The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing. No arrests have been made.’
