Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes‘ California wedding celebration was naturally filled with music — including an impromptu DJ set by their famous pal Paris Hilton!
Lovato, 32, told Vogue that Hilton, 44, took over the DJ booth at a late-night afterparty following the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday, May 25. And from the sounds of it, she brought the energy.
“Paris literally shook the dance floor with her DJ skills,” Lovato recalled. “And I mean the entire floor moved with her beats.”
In a photo shared by the outlet on Instagram, the new bride and Hilton can be seen posing together in front of a frescoed wall at the Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, where the wedding took place. The “Stars Are Blind” singer wore a pale pink, Grecian-inspired draped dress with matching opera gloves for the occasion. Lovato, meanwhile, was a vision in her custom Vivienne Westwood wedding gown and cathedral-style veil.
In addition to Hilton’s DJ stint, Lovato and Lutes, 34, invited Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik to sing one of the band’s biggest hits, 1998’s “Iris,” for their romantic first dance.
“It was surreal,” Lovato recalled to Vogue of the special performance. “This was a pinch-us moment. It’s our favorite song and has so much meaning to both of us.”

Following the couple’s Memorial Day weekend nuptials, a source told PEOPLE that the wedding setting was “pure magic — an oceanfront estate with sweeping views of the coastline.”
“Demi looked stunning,” the source added. “Mostly smiling, though there were a few emotional moments that clearly moved her.”
Lovato told Vogue that the couple’s ceremony, which was officiated by their good friend Dave Osokow, was “full of love.”
“Looking into each other’s eyes, all I was thinking was how lucky we are to spend this lifetime with each other,” she said, before revealing the spontaneous way they decided at the altar who would recite their vows first — a quick game of Rock Paper Scissors.
“We tied at first, and then Jordan won, so I went first,” Lovato said.
All in all, she told the outlet, “I just felt loved” on the big day. “All that life has brought me to this moment, and it was more than worth it. It was so special being able to marry my best friend, my soulmate, and the love of my life,” she added.

As the couple dug into wedding planning last year, Lutes told PEOPLE they were making a point to take their time and make the process as stress-free as possible. “We’re not trying to skip engagement to get right to wedding. We’re just basking in it and soaking it up,” he said in an October 2024 interview. “We just want to enjoy every step.”
He very confidently added: “We’ll be married forever.”

“I was very surprised with how comfortable and close I felt to her very quickly, but I didn’t even consider that it would be more than friends,” Lutes said. “And then I think we wrote a few more songs and we went to some concerts, and we started talking more and more and more gradually, and then over time we would hang out more, and then one thing led to another.”
“I don’t know if I admitted it to myself that I was crushing, but I was like, ‘Oh, I really like being around this person,’ ” he continued. ” ‘This person really gets me. I feel like I know this person already.’ It was very easy, and it was nice.”
