Reality star Abby Hensel, who is part of the famous conjoined twins, has found love and tied the knot in a secret wedding. Abby and her twin sister Brittany rose to fame in 1996 when they appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show.

As the twins share a torso and all organs below the waist, their unique life story intrigued many and ultimately led them to have their own TV show with TLC. However, despite the huge interest in their lives, the now 34 year olds have often kept private when it comes to their love lives.

Brittany once shared in 2012: “The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing and when we are going to do it.” Abby, who controls the right side of their body, has also expressed similar sentiments about privacy.

She revealed: “Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet.” To everyone’s surprise, it has now been revealed that Abby got secretly married in 2021, reports the Mirror.

According to Today, Abby tied the knot with Josh Bowling, a nurse and US Army veteran, in 2021. Abby and her sister Brittany, who are both teachers, posted wedding photos on social media from the special day where they can be seen beaming in a stunning white wedding dress.

They all live in Minnesota, where Abby and Brittany grew up. Josh’s Facebook shows that they enjoy walks, eating ice cream, and playing in the snow.

Josh has a daughter who is eight years old from a previous relationship, who joins in with their family fun. Abby and Brittany have always done amazing things, including passing their driving test together when they turned 16.

They had a TV show where they went to Europe, rode a moped, and finished college with their own degrees. When the twins were born, their mum and dad, Patty and Mike, had to make a tough choice about whether to separate them.

They were worried the girls might not survive or could be badly hurt by the surgery, so they said no. They wanted the girls to grow up to have their own ideas and lives.

The twins are glad their parents chose not to separate them. Abby said: “We never wish we were separated because we would never be able to do all the things that we do now, like play softball, run and do sports.”
