Married At First Sight golden couple Stella and Filip in talks for TV wedding special – and the eye-watering payday that could make them the next Jules and Cam

They are the only couple set to go the distance from this year’s chaotic season of Married At First Sight.

And now Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov could be on the verge of turning their fairytale romance into a serious payday, with insiders revealing they are in early talks with Channel Nine for a televised wedding special.

The network is eager to recreate the success of fan favourites Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant – whose real-life wedding was broadcast in a ratings-winning special after their time on the show.

‘There’s huge interest in Stella and Filip right now,’ an insider tells Daily Mail.

‘They’re being positioned as this season’s success story – the couple that actually made it. And Nine knows viewers are emotionally invested.’

‘A televised wedding is absolutely on the table.’

Behind the scenes, the pair have reportedly already been earmarked as ‘the next Jules and Cam’ – a comparison that carries major commercial weight.

And with that comes big money.

Back in 2019, Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant’s televised wedding reportedly earned them between $50,000 and $75,000 tied to the broadcast and related deals.

But insiders say that figure only scratches the surface.

‘The TV cheque is just one piece of the puzzle,’ a production source explains.

‘The real money comes from everything around it – the magazine deals, the sponsorships, the brand partnerships. That’s where it adds up very quickly.’

In today’s influencer–driven landscape, experts believe Stella and Filip could earn significantly more than their predecessors.

‘Jules and Cam walked so future couples could run – the deals are bigger now, the audience is bigger, and the commercial appetite is way higher,’ one insider says.

Daily Mail understands that if a deal is locked in, Stella and Filip could conservatively earn between $100,000 and $200,000 from a televised wedding and associated opportunities.

However, with a full commercial rollout including exclusive interviews, fashion and jewellery sponsorships, venue partnerships and social media campaigns, that figure could climb to between $250,000 and $500,000 or more.

‘If it becomes a full–scale TV event with multiple brand tie-ins, you’re easily looking at half a million,’ the source adds.

‘It’s not just a wedding anymore. It’s a full media package – and that’s where the serious money is.’

While contestants on MAFS are paid relatively modestly during filming, insiders say the real financial opportunities come after the show airs – particularly for couples who manage to stay together.

And with Stella and Filip emerging as one of the only genuine success stories from the season, they are seen as a ‘safe bet’ for both networks and advertisers.

‘Brands love them because they’re clean, aspirational and genuinely liked,’ another source says.

‘After such a messy season, they’re the perfect reset.’

Daily Mail understands early conversations have already taken place, with producers keen to move quickly while public interest remains high following the reunion.

‘Timing is everything,’ an insider explains.

‘You strike while the audience still cares. That’s when the numbers – and the money – are at their highest.’

Despite the growing speculation, Stella and Filip have remained tight-lipped about their future plans.

But those close to the couple say they are well aware of the opportunity in front of them – and are open to exploring what comes next.

‘They’re very much in love, but they’re also not naive,’ a friend reveals.

‘They know this could be life-changing.’

The Married At First Sight reunion airs Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
