Meghan Markle has posted a special wedding anniversary tribute for her husband Prince Harry with a nod to Scotland as the couple celebrate seven years of marriage today.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram this afternoon to share a sweet collage of intimate snaps from over the years with the iconic I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) playing in the background.
Alongside the snaps, Meghan captioned the post: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories.
“Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary! “
The adorable post involved a number of family snaps including the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, from baby scans to cosy holidays.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19 2018 while they were still active senior members in the Firm.
Their big day came just over two years before the couple made the decision to step down from their royal duties and relocate to the US to start a new life in 2020.
However, their romance started back in 2016 while Meghan was still an actress on the US legal drama Suits.
