The Prince and Princess of Wales will travel to the Isle of Mull, off Scotland’s west coast, for a two-day visit to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary.

The Royal couple, William and Kate, will embark on a two-day visit to the Isle of Mull, situated off the west coast of Scotland, where they’ll engage with local artisans, farmers, and residents.
Having been together for over two decades, William and Kate’s love story began at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Their friendship blossomed into romance, leading to their grand nuptials at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, where the aisle of the iconic Gothic church was adorned with trees.
The couple welcomed their first child, Prince George, in 2013, followed by Princess Charlotte in 2015 and Prince Louis in 2018. Despite Kate’s battle with cancer, their bond remains unbroken.
William shares a unique connection with the Isle of Mull, as it forms part of the lands once governed by the Lord of the Isles, one of several Scottish titles he inherited from his father when Charles ascended the throne.
During their time in Scotland, William and Kate are officially recognised by their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay.
Their visit commences on April 29 in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, famously known as the filming location for the beloved BBC children’s television series Balamory.
The pair plan to explore a community hub within the town and also take a tour of the Tobermory producers market at the town’s harbour, where they’ll sample local produce and meet some of Mull’s talented makers and creators.
During their visit, the Royal Foundation of William and Kate will unveil a partnership aimed at supporting and developing two community spaces across Mull. The initiative seeks to ensure that locals can continue to gather and participate in activities.
The Royal couple will also pay a visit to a croft and restaurant on the west coast, where they’ll meet the Hebridean sheep reared on the 50-acre site and assist in selecting garden produce for the menu.
On the concluding day, William and Kate are set to meet countryside rangers from the Mull and Iona Ranger Service at the Ardura Community Forest. They’ll join a school group for outdoor learning activities and meet with Ardura Acorns, an early years outdoor learning playgroup that offers nature trails, den-building and animal tracking.
The visit is intended to underscore the significance of safeguarding and promoting the natural environment.
Over the weekend, William and Kate were absent from the annual Easter Service.
Prince William informed the King of his decision to skip the annual gathering in order to “enjoy some extended time as a family over Easter”, according to a source. “They are choosing to spend time together as a family before the children go back to school”, the source further explained.
The Waleses were also absent from last year’s service, which took place just weeks after the princess was diagnosed with cancer
