The Chase fans were left baffled by a wedding question that tripped up a contestant on the ITV show.
Four players Sam, Ashleigh, Karen and Andrew put their general knowledge to the test on Thursday’s instalment of the quiz programme hosted by Bradley Walsh, 64.
Andrew from Oldham was the first up against Chaser Anne Hegerty, 66, after securing £5,000 in the cash builder round.
However, he found himself stuck on a question that read: ‘In England, what is normally the earliest time of day a wedding ceremony can start in an Anglican church?’
Andrew was presented with the answers 8am, 10am or 12pm.
He chose 12pm and admitted to Bradley he had ‘guessed’ and explained, ‘Just because people need to get ready,’ as he shook his head and shrugged.

However, he found himself stuck on a question that read: ‘In England, what is normally the earliest time of day a wedding ceremony can start in an Anglican church?’
The correct answer was 8am, which Anne had selected and knocked Andrew out of the game.
But the question baffled some viewers who took to social media to share their thoughts.
One posted on X: ‘How the f*** are people supposed to be ready to get ready at 8am?!!… #TheChase.’;
‘Who the f*** gets married at 8am?! #TheChase.’;
‘#TheChase Blimey, who gets married at 8am? You’d have to be up in the middle of the night to get ready.’;
‘WTF would want to get married at 8am #thechase.’
By the end of the game, only Ashleigh and Karen made it through to take on Anne one final time for a share of the £5,000 prize pot.
However, the Chaser managed to beat the contestants and they went home empty handed.
It comes after a fans of The Chase were left baffled by a ‘ridiculous’ question that left Jenny Ryan and Bradley Walsh stumped.
Susan, Jamahl, Ali and Spencer took on The Vixen during the episode in a bid to win some cash.

The Chasers are usually pretty impressive at correctly answering the questions on the ITV show, but earlier this week Jenny shockingly struggled with one.
Host Bradley, 64, asked: ‘As of 2023, what was the fee for having a star on the Walk of Fame?’
He gave the options of $750, $7,500 or $75,000.
Susan answered the question straight away with $75,000, but Jenny had to have a think about it.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV1 at 5pm and is available to stream on ITVX.
