Rachel Weisz & Daniel Craig

Hollywood power Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig said “I do” with a shockingly short guest list back in 2011: only four people! The two tied the knot in Manhattan alongside Craig’s daughter Ella, 31, and Weisz’s son Henry, 17, and two friends, Daily Mail reported.

“We got away with it. We did it privately,” And I’ve got a lot of people to thank for that. But that was the point. We did it for private reasons.

Emily Ratajkowski & Sebastian Bear-McClard

In 2018, Emily Ratajkowski and her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard wed in an intimate civil ceremony with just a few friends. “Sooo, I have a surprise, I got married today,” the model wrote on Instagram, per Brides. For the occasion, she wore a not-so-traditional mustard yellow suit.

In another couple that have since split, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth also had a super private ceremony. “10 years later …..,” Cyrus wrote on Twitter alongside a picture of them hugging during their in-house wedding.

Stranger Things star David Harbour announced he’d tied the knot with singer Lily Allen in Vegas on Instagram. “In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people’s princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic,” Harbour wrote in the caption. 

“Refreshments were served at a small reception following,” he continued. In the second picture, Allen and her kids are seen enjoying In-N-Out. 

Dax Sheperd & Kristen Bell

Dax Sheperd and Kristen Bell also kept it low-key in a private civil ceremony in Los Angeles. “#tbt to when I cried at our wedding and @daxshepard thought it was really funny,” Bell once wrote on Instagram with a picture of them on the day. 

Cardi B & Offset

Cardi B and Offset managed to keep their wedding so private, the world didn’t know about it until months later. According to People, the two wed in their bedroom in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to an officiant, the pair only had one witness, Cardi’s cousin. “TBT …September 20th,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. 

Colin Jost & Scarlett Johansson

Speaking of private weddings, Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson also keep their nuptials under wraps. In fact, the news first broke with an announcement by the  charitable organization Meals on Wheels. “We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC,” the organization wrote alongside a picture of the Staten Island Ferry and “Jost Married” written on top. 

Amanda Seyfried & Thomas Sadoski

Actors Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski also kept it low-key for their big day. “We got married in Topanga, March last year,” The Dropout star told Net-A-Porter. “Just the two of us. And afterwards, I was like, “Can we just go to Cheebo?” It was awesome.”

While the might be one of the world’s richest couples, Beyoncé and Jay-Z kept it simple in their 2008 wedding. The pair tied the knot Jay-Z’s 13,500-sq.-ft. Manhattan penthouse with only 40 guests in attendance, People reports. “It was a very emotional wedding — lots of crying — and really very spiritual,” a source told the outlet at the time.

Back in 1954, Marilyn Monroe and baseball player Joe DiMaggio said “I do” in the judge’s chambers in San Francisco City Hall, WWD reports. After their nuptials, the pair jet off to Tokyo, Japan, where they celebrated their honeymoon.

According to Ripa, it all happened because the two surprisingly had two free days of work. “$179 for a wedding, including airfare, cause we had miles and we had a canceled trip or something,” she told her former co-host Ryan Seacrest. “But $179 in total — total with everything.”

Will you come to my doctor’s appointment?’ And that’s how it happened!”

“We were gonna get married over Christmas [in 2005], and then somebody got wind of it, and my publicist told me these people are are all going to go down to Miami where we lived at the time,” Damon told People. “We thought our whole holiday break was going get ruined with people hanging around, with helicopters and all that stuff. So we literally ran to the city on [on Dec. 9, 2005,] and just tied the knot really quickly, just to kind of nip that whole thing in the bud.”

Former couple Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green also kept it simple for their big day in 2010. In an interview with People, Fox and Green revealed they had a sunset ceremony on the beach in Hawaii, with only Green’s then-8-year-old son Kassius bearing witness to the nuptials. “They didn’t need anything extravagant.
